The Have And The Have Nots… Looking For A Few Good Men.

“Hut Syndrome”

Many have a “Hut Syndrome”. We were raised in huts and shanty town’s on dirt floors and we are just thankful to have a shot-gun house to live in or a matchbox. We are still stacked on top of each other like sardines and we cannot enjoy the advances that we have made in life because the gap seemingly will never decrease between the have’s and the have not’s.

Jesus, you came to stand in the gap for us. So, what is it going to take for us to walk across into what you have for your children? Your word says that we are to live in exceeding and abundance, that we are the head and not the tail; that you will provide.

Just when we think that we have made great strides, we look at those who have had a 400 years head start and we are exhausted from simply watching the gap appear to grow as wide as the Grand Canyon. You can easily speak your word to shorten the distance but that’s not your style at all! You like the odds stacked against you and that your children are the underdogs, but what they do not understand is that they are playing right into your hands, and that you do your best work with only a few GOOD men. So, when it is all said and done, no one can claim any of your glory, honor or praise – It belongs totally to you Father.

When I see sprawling and palatial mansions that can fit my current home into it several times over, I realize that I look like the underdog, but really I have the advantage and the upper hand because of who I serve! Favor Ain’t Fair but God always allows the enemy to go first. It’s an unfair battle and they all belong to the Lord. Keep Pressing!
