If you’re a Christian, a person seeking God to walk out the life that He has given us to do with freely; only to be compulsory by saying to us, to walk right and circumspect – then you must suffer from PTSD.

A life lived for, and in pursuit of Christ is one that is short and full of trouble. The battles we face outwardly on a day-to-day basis becomes exacerbated exponentially when we add to it the battle to keep a mind, heart and spirit that’s pure and in desire of more of Him.

Yet God says that it can be done and requires that we remain in the fight and to not leave a wounded warrior of the faith behind, and to love and pray for our enemies.

With Salvation we were drafted in. Whom the Son sets free is free indeed. However, freedom isn’t free. Discipleship is costly.

We see death of spirits in the theatre of war when we see others not living their  lives in the full potential of Christ, and when we are wounded ourselves and fall short of His grace.

We don’t have to see limbs blown off when we see unarmed black men and women murdered by police in HD on television; and injustices run rampant for the poor and disenfranchised.

Life lived for Christ will have you wondering what did you get yourself into, but in Him is who we live, move and have our being. And unlike the wars fought abroad. We have a terrorist, an enemy of our souls who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy EACH AND EVERYDAY, and EACH AND EVERY ONE OF US.

So, we lean not to our own understanding, but in all our ways acknowledge HIM and He shall direct our paths.

If you’ve been a Christian for more than a day – Happy VETERANS DAY!

There’s no such thing as dishonorable discharge – Only a life apart from Christ and once you come to know HIM, you don’t want any parts of that. This kind of life or death goes beyond country and transcends borders.

God is still Commander and Chief; carry out His orders and He will give you the peace to combat your disorderly spirit.
